NAS (Network Attached Storage), NAS (Network Attached Storage) is a device that contains one or more hard drives (or solid state drives) to keep files on. What makes it different to a standard (USB, Firewire et.,) external drive is that it connects via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi to your network router and is therefore accessible from any of your network connected devices, allowing you to access the same files from any of your devices, or to share them with others who also have access to your network. Some have more than one drive for added data security. For more information, click here to go to our Storage page.
